Assemblages of orthopteroid insects along environmental gradients in central and southern Madagascar


	Variation partitioning (%) in orthopteroid insect assemblages was explained by three variables—habitat, altitude and latitude—using CCA. A unique effect of habitat type and altitude were statistically significant (P < 0.01).
